Shipping + Returns
RETURN POLICY
We gladly accept returns for merchandise with a receipt within 14 days of purchase in-store or online. Original tags must be attached and the item(s) must be in its original condition, unworn, and unwashed. You will be credited in your original form of payment.
- Returns must be requested and if eligible for return, post marked within 14 days of the date you receive your shipment, no exceptions.
- Items that appear to have stains (including makeup), smell of cigarette smoke, deodorant, pet hair, odors, etc., will not be accepted.
- Copy of packaging slip or receipt must be included.
- All Clearance items, Seasonal Sale items, Bath & Beauty items, undergarments, earrings, "As Is" items, and Gift Cards/Certificates are FINAL SALE!
If you are returning item(s) purchased that were part of a BOGO sale, you forfeit the BOGO sale discount given and will be charged full price for the item(s) you have chosen to keep.
Holiday Return Policy: Items being returned prior to the 14 day deadline will follow our regular return policy. However, during the holiday we extend gift purchases to be EXCHANGED or given STORE CREDIT only through January 5th. Gift returns and Exchanges must be accompanied by a gift receipt. No exceptions.
HOW TO RETURN BY MAIL
1.) Include a copy of your packing slip or receipt. Without this, your return will not be completed.
2.) For exchange, please note on your packing slip what size you would like to exchange for. If we have the size you need, we will ship it out to you. Otherwise, we will contact you.
3.) Package your item(s) in an orderly fashion with everything required inside the package.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We do not provide return labels.
Once your return/exchange is received, we will inspect the item(s) and verify that it qualifies for a return/exchange. We will contact you if we have any questions or concerns. Please note that we have the right to refuse any or all returns/exchanges if they do not meet our return criteria.
Please allow 5-10 business days from receipt of merchandise to allow for our return & inspection process.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

GIFT CARDS
Gift cards, e-cards, and Gift Certificates are final sale.
THIRD PARTY PAYMENTS
Third party payments (ex. PayPal or Sezzle) used during online purchase will be credited back to credit card of your choice in-store as we cannot fulfill the refund back to these 3rd party vendors in-store. If you use Sezzle as a form of payment for your online order & return in-store for a full refund, there will be no changes to your payment plan on Sezzle as you still need to pay off the original order.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

DAMAGES
- All items received must be inspected and damages reported within 3 days of receiving your item.
- If you receive a damaged item please email a picture and description to info@thesweetmelange.com and we will get back in contact with you in 24-48 hours.
